A stationary Tow Truck was involved in a road crash that has just been cleared inwards Ebute-Ero on the Lagos Island on Monday.
The incident was attributed to reckless driving by the driver of a painted LT bus whose driver lost control whilst on top speed and rammed into a stationary tow-truck from behind.
LASEMA rescued three adults, comprising of one male and two females, recovering the LT bus with registration number KTU 681XS that collided with a private tow-truck with registration no. SMK 482CA while travelling inwards Ebute-Ero.
The three victims who sustained various degrees of injuries, were first stabilized by the Agency’s paramedics in the 32 minute operation, before being ferried to Marina General hospital with the aid of the Agency’s Ambulances for further treatment.
“No loss of lives were recorded, but three victims were involved. One Adult male and two adult females who sustained various degree of injuries and were stabilized by the Agency’s paramedics before being taken to the Marina General hospital with the aid of the Ambulances.
“The LT bus has also been recovered from the bridge.
