The Ekiti State Commissioner for Health and Human Services, Dr. Oyebanji Filani, has commended the efforts of the State’s health workers in ensuring the delivery of quality services to the people of Ekiti State.
The Commissioner gave this commendation during an inspection and familiarisation tour to Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Central Medical Store and the Hospitals Management Board, where he met with the leadership of the institutions and other workers.
He further expressed his gratitude to His Excellency, Governor Kayode Fayemi for his leadership in renovating the infrastructure at EKSUTH as well as the provision of hospital equipment for clinical services.
Dr. Filani expressed the assurance of the Ekiti State Government to prioristise the provision of quality health care for its people, improved service delivery of the Teaching Hospital, Central Medical Store, Hospitals Management Board and other health institutions.
“The Executive Governor has continued to show leadership in ensuring that our health services can provide best services according to global standards. This is evident in the structural improvement of Teaching hospital and our primary health care centres. We are committed to implementing Mr. Governor’s vision of good quality care for the people of Ekiti State” he said.
The Honourable Commissioner reiterated that the Dr. Kayode Fayemi led administration will continue to prioritise the improvement of human resource for health as a key pillar of the State’s health system. He further stated that the Government is committed to building a stong relationship with health workers and will create opportunities to maximise health workers’ productivity.
